Successful completion of certificate in Banking Technology by IDBI, Intech in MBA S.I.T. Mathura SIT continuously strives towards nurturing and delivering quality professionals. The MBA curriculum at SIT not only provides theoretical inputs to students but also aims at providing value added courses to keep them attuned to industry needs. In line with the above tradition a certificate in banking technology (CBT) course by IDBI intech was conducted for MBA II Year students form 24th Jan to 05th Feb. 2010. The basic objectives of this course were 1. To enhance employability of students for the Banking Sector. 2. Enrich the students in Banking Tech skills and functional knowledge by training on Finacle software 3. To keep the students better equipped from banking perspective. 4. To keep the students ahead of competition During the span of 13 days, 3 days were devoted to classroom sessions which covered the technical aspects of Banking, Branch operations and back office operations. It was followed by hands on working on the live core Banking System through Finacle software. Students gained indepth knowledge about core banking technologies and their applications through practical examples & case studies. The closing ceremony of the CBT course was held on 05th Feb. 2010. The occasion was graced by the presence of Vice Chairman, Mr. Soam Sachdeva, Director Dr. Ashok Shrivastava, Advisor Dr. A. K. Saluja, Faculty, (IDBI Intech) Mr. Vinay Ambekar, HOD, MBA Mrs. Ekta Rao all HOD's of the institute and faculty of MBA Department. The HOD (MBA) recalled worth of the course for the trainees and congratulated them on the successful completion of the programme. The Vice Chairman addressed the students and shared the essential virtues required for becoming a successful manager. The Director while appreciating the appropriateness of such courses also assured that similar courses will be conducted on a regular basis and a long term relationship with IDBI, Intech will be nourished. Certificates were distributed to students by Vice Chairman, Director and Advisor. Mr Vinay Ambekar, Faculty IDBI, Intech was facilitated through presentation of momento. In the end Mr. Priyank Sharma, Program Coordinator gave the vote of thanks wherein he thanked the Management, Director and the technical staff for their support for successful completion of the course. << Back
